WESTCLIFFE RESIDENT GATE INFORMATION
We are currently having issues with the Front Gate and are looking into replacing the control system. We will hold the gate open until the issue is resolved. Thank you for your patience during this period.
The Westcliffe Neighborhood gate database is currently being managed by resident Todd Nolte (noltetodd@gmail.com.) New property owners should contact Mr. Nolte via email to ensure that their codes, phone numbers for intercom, and remotes function as they should.
Westcliffe front gate access codes are four digit codes that are entered into the gate with a # sign preceding them. Correct current codes will open the gate during the assigned hours of the security clearance of the code. (Residents…. 24/7, Delivery….5am-7pm)
Directory codes are three digit codes that initiate a call from the gate intercom at the keypad to the cellphone of the resident who owns the directory code being used. These codes are entered WITHOUT a # sign preceding them. Directory codes can be provided to non-residents that you do not wish to provide with an entry code. When a visitor calls your phone from the gate you can press (9) on your phone to open the gate.
Existing residents that have not been in contact with Mr. Nolte should do so as well. There has been confusion among residents regarding the function and purpose of numerous codes, and in many cases, residents have been mistakenly using each other’s codes. If you have not selected a private entry code, then please contact Mr. Nolte to confirm and/or update your gate access code.
Many residents also use a common universal resident entry code that will be removed in the near future. Private individual codes are much more maintainable going forwards. If you’ve contacted Mr. Nolte and have confirmed your codes then you don’t need to do anything, but if you have not, then please do.
Resident entry codes will open the gate 24/7 and should ideally not be provided to delivery or service people unless they are very well known or family to the Westcliffe resident. There is a non-resident (‘delivery’) entry code which can be provided to delivery or service people which will only open the gate during daytime hours. This code IS common to all residents and may need to be changed periodically if abused.
